Barkly

Barkly is a 100 year old Miners Cottage which we re-stumped, re-wired and re-plumbed – basically we renovated it from top to bottom, inside and out. We modernised the interior but still kept the charm, including the original fireplace but balanced it with a neutral colour palate.

We removed an interior wall, to create an open plan living, dining and kitchen area; this not only modernised the space, but as it is a small cottage, it created a better flow through the home and opened it up.
